Rainforest exploration (non-fiction)
What better way to explore the rainforest, an Egyptian pyramid, the solar system or any other out-of-reach place, than by creating a branching story that shows off all of the knowledge a child has absorbed throughout a topic? This is just a (very) short example of how it could be done with the Amazon rainforest.
I have only included a few options, but it could be expanded by the character travelling through all of the layers of the forest, or diving into the Amazon basin and exploring what they find.
Why not use a map of the ISS and create a branching narrative that takes the reader on an accurate exploration around this far-flung scientific outpost? The opportunities are endless! If you are interested in exploring these ideas further, get in touch about my workshops and see what I can offer.
