The Spyglass and the Cherry Tree is a brilliant fantasy adventure with a journey about confronting fears and trials to become a hero, with a variety of eccentric characters, an evil queen, and the quest for a magical stone.

My 9 year old daughter loved this book. This is the first book she could read without using coloured overlays. She actually chose to take this book to school to read at break time which is a first.

I read this book to my six year old son and he was enamoured with it right from the very first page. I sometimes struggle to get him to engage with a story, especially a longer book like this, but he was absolutely gripped and begged me to read more every night!

We were privileged to get a copy for dyslexic children and its been so nice to see my daughter enjoy a book and be able to read it and understand it.
